What is Web Hosting?

Web hosting is the service of putting your website up on the Internet and making it’s content accessible to others, via a web browser or otherwise. Every website needs to be hosted.

If you are reading this page, you’ve probably some experience in owning a website and you are looking to upgrade your hosting to meet your growing business’ needs. If you are looking for a new website, then I’ll have you covered with a year’s hosting included in the price of the website. An exception to this exists for ecommerce websites.

New & Low-Traffic Websites

Whether or not I built your website, I’ll offer to you two options:

1. Set up your own hosting account
I’ll help you set up your own hosting account, with a suitable provider, which you will then have full control over.

2. I’ll manage your hosting
For peace of mind, you can opt for me to fully manage your hosting. The cost varies, depending on what exactly it is that you want. Managed hosting starts at £10 per month. There are various add-ons such as: backup; security scanning and fixes; business email and more.

High-Traffic Websites

I offer consultation and hosting management for businesses with a larger amount of website traffic. You may be looking to upgrade your current hosting to cope with your growing business, or you may wish to simply have someone manage your current hosting. I can help with management and switching, from shared hosting to virtual private servers (VPS) and dedicated servers.
